Mai Tam Shelter
Mai Tam Shelter is home to women and children with HIV in Saigon, Vietnam. This organization not only provides food, housing, medications for those living in the shelter, but also provides support for hundreds of individuals with HIV living in the community.
We hung out with the kids and took them to a local mall so each of them can buy $5 to $10 worth of stuff. It was fun and rewarding knowing that we made the kids happy. We will try to make this an annual activity for them to enjoy when we visit.
Mai Tam means the Heart of the Virgin Mary. Mai Tam also means the Heart of Dawn - a new heart that welcomes abandoned women and children to help restore their hope through love. Please generously open your heart to these women and children with HIV.
Be Vui Project raises funds to help support and provide education for these Vietnamese orphans and children living with HIV at Mai Tam Shelter.
Our focus is to help provide educational expenses including school fees, extracurricular activities, college entrance applications, college tuitions, transportation to go to school, and more... Our goal is to enable Mai Tam children to have access to education thereby empowering them with knowledge, while improving their senses of self-worth and self-esteem. Please join us in our quest to provide Mai Tam children with education and knowledge because... knowledge is power.
Thank you for your support.
