Be Vui Project collaborated with some friends to help poor and blind people in Tay Ninh.  We prepared 400 packages of gifts including rice, instant noodle, soy sauce, seasoning powder, and medicinal oil.  In addition to the gifts, we also gave them $200,000 vnd (about $8 usd) each.  Each portion of gift including cash cost about $20.  

100 gift packages were given to poor people at Cao Xa market. The majority of them were people living in poverty who sell lottery tickets for a living. On a daily basis, they would need to walk many miles on foot to ask people to buy lottery tickets.  For each ticket sold, they only make $1000 vnd (about 4 cents).  They would need to sell 200 tickets to make $200,000 vnd ($8 usd) for the day.

300 gift packages were given to blind people at Tay Ninh Province Center for the Blind.  The blind people came from cities and arrived in buses.  Many volunteers came to help lead the blind people to receive gifts and back to the buses to go home.  Thanks to our volunteers and coordinators, everything was smooth.  The event was extremely well organized.  Everyone was grateful for the gifts and cash.
