Tong Phuoc Phuc Orphanage
Be Vui Project visited Tong Phuoc Phuc Orphanage, located in Nha Trang, a city in central Vietnam. It is the home to Vietnamese orphans and abandoned children in the beach city Nha Trang. The Founder, Mr. Tong named all the boys Vinh and all the girls Tam. In hope of giving the children better futures, Mr. Tong works with several adoption agencies to get these children adopted by families overseas. Some children have been adopted by families in the US. Another interesting fact about Mr. Tong is that he has been collecting aborted fetuses from local hospitals and burying them in a cemetery which he created for that purpose.
During our visit, we made monetary donation to the organization and passed out li xi (lunar new year lucky money) to the children. The children were happy and grateful.
